[DIY] Pedicure- Perfect Your Toes with All About Feet

May 1, 2013 in Beauty, Fashion, Life

Your days are long, you work harder than you are asked to and you put others before yourself. You are a woman; strong, smart, invincible. Whether you are heading that quarterly meeting, taking the kids to soccer practice or making sure the dog gets walked- your to-do list grows everyday. Chances are pampering yourself is not a priority, it might not even make the list. Despite  how hard we push ourselves, how often do we sit down, without distraction and reflect on just how much we have accomplished with our two hands (and feet)? Do we recognize our successes at the end of the day? Do we understand that we have prepared today so that we may succeed tomorrow. After all, this is and has always been our primary responsibility. So the question becomes, how do you manage your energy? It i s so much more than simply scheduling your time. It is about replenishing your reserve. There is no need to book the Ritz or follow Carrie Bradshaw in the last Sex and the City movie. We’re talking about the little things. The little things you do just for you, like a pedicure- when you toes are painted, your skin is soft, the scent of mint relaxes your mind and for a short time you feel like a woman.

All About Feet

Make it All About Feet

1. Add 3 or 4 scoops of All About Feet’s Foot Salt Soak to warm water. To activate the essential oils stir with your feet and soak for 10 minutes. The salt soak is rich with minerals from Sea Salts, Dead Sea Salts to Epsom Salts.

2. The next step is to exfoliate dead or dry skin from your feet with All About Feet’s Sugar Scrub.  Massage the scrub from your ankles, your heels and down to  your toes.

3. Take the All About Feet Foot Spray and after patting your feet dry, spritz your toes with the cool refreshing mist. The menthol and peppermint oils leave your feet feeling tingly while the tea tree oil helps remove bacteria.

4. Now it is time to moisturize your skin. Choose All About Feet Foot Cream or Foot Butter. The peppermint foot cream is enriched with sweet almond oil, glycerin and aloe to help soothe and soften your skin. For a more luxurious and richer texture choose the foot butter for its cocoa butter, shea butter and vitamin E.

5.Wipe any lotion off your nails with a clean cloth or cotton pad. If need be, trim your nails straight across to avoid in grown nails and file down sharp corners. Decide on your style. Choose the executive pedicure with a pale pink base and french tips or go the flirtatious route with a sexy hot pink.
